People get so minimalistic sometimes that rooms almost end up too bare.  I don’t like the contemporary style of only having furniture if it serves a distinct purpose.   What happened to the days when you could have something in your house just because it looked good or you liked it.

I have always felt this way about decorative lighting.  I like when there is a light on the table lit up on the table with no other purpose then to draw someone’s attention in passing.
